Gastren Duo is used to relief the indications associated with the return of the stomach’s
contents back up into the esophagus (gastroesophageal reflux) and the
indications of excessive acid in the stomach such as stomachache, epigastric
burning, feeling of fullness or heaviness in the stomach, indigestion, distention,
nausea and vomiting.
Do not take Gastren Duo If you have:
-Hypersensitivity to any compound of the drug,
-Any disorder that causes high level of calcium in the blood and/or in the urine,
-Calcium deposition or calculi in the kidney (s),
-Severe renal failure,
-Low level of phosphate in the blood.
Take Gastren Duo with caution in the following cases:
-If you have renal failure or renal dysfunction;
-if you have high level of calcium in the urine
-if you suffer from constipation, hemorrhoid and sarcoidosis (which is a disease that may affect
many organs);
-if you have severe and chronic stomach -intestine disorder.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
You can take Gastren Duo during pregnancy with caution.
Avoid using high doses in the long- term. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
If you notice your pregnancy during the treatment, consult your physician or pharmacist immediately.
You can take Gastren Duo during lactation providing that it is in the recommended doses.
This is an OTC drug, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Unless otherwise recommended by the physician, the standard dose for adults and children older than 12 years old is 10 ml. It is recommended to take this dose one hour after the main meals or at bedtime. In case of the complaint of burning in the stomach and/or chest, you can take an additional dose.
Shake well before use.
Your physician tells you the duration of your treatment. If your complaints persist despite the regular use of Gastren Duo for 14 days, consult your physician.
Various age groups:
Use in children: It is not recommended to use in children younger than 12 years old.
Use in elders: No specific administration is required.
600 mg calcium carbonate (E170), 70 mg magnesium carbonate (E504) and 150 mg sodium alginate (E401)
Excipients: Sodium bicarbonate, xanthan gum, sucralose, sodium propyl parahydroxy benzoate (E217), peppermint flavor, tutti frutti flavor, gum flavor, benzyl alcohol, purified water
