Caffetin is a combined analgesic drug.
The analgesic effect has been proven for paracetamol, propyphenazone and codeine, while caffeine ameliorates their effect.
Caffetin is indicated for relief of different type of pain such as headache, toothache, migraine, neuralgia, ishialgia, muscular pain, postoperative, posttraumatic and menstrual pain.
Do not use Caffetin if:
-you are allergic from any ingredient of this formulation.
-you have impaired kidney or liver function.
-you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, which are metabolically rare.
-you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Caffetin is contraindicated in children under 12 years.
When using Caffetin you should avoid consuming liquids that contain alcohol or caffeine.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Caffetin should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Most common side effects:
-nausea;
-vomiting;
-nervousness;
-palpitations;
-difficulty sleeping;
-tachycardia.

Caffetin is taken only in case of need and not for long treatments (not more than 3 days).
Adults and children over 16 years old take 1-2 tablets, 3 times per day per day. So, not more than 6 tablets per day should be consumed.
Children 12-16 years old can take 1/2-1 tablet in case of pain, not more than 3 times per day.
