Algofen is used for the relief of headache, tension headache, migraine, backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, toothache and period pain.
It also relieves sore throat and the fever, aches and pains of colds and flu and is recommended for the relief of pain due to mild arthritis.
The active ingredient is paracetamol, which is a painkiller and reduces fever.

Do not take Algofen:
-if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this tablets;
-if you are taking other medicines that contain paracetamol.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Algofen if:
-you have liver or kidney disease, including alcoholic liver disease;
-you suffer from mild arthritis and need to take painkillers everyday.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy, ask your doctor for advise before taking this medicine.
If necessary Algofen can be used during pregnancy. You should use the lowest dose for the shortest time possible.
You can take this medicine while tou breastfeed.
