Agelmin contains cetirizine dihydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines.
Cetirizine is used in adults and children over 6 years of age to:
– relieve symptoms associated with seasonal and chronic allergic rhinitis, such as: sneezing, irritated nose, blocked nose, itching, redness and watery eyes.
– relieve the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (swelling, redness and itching of the skin).

Do not use Agelmin if:
-you have severe kidney problems (severe kidney damage with creatinine filtration less than 10ml / min).
– you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the excipients present in the formulation, tohydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives.
-you have rare inherited problems of galactose intolerance, LAPP lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of Agelmin during pregnancy is not suggested.
As cetirizine is excreted in breast milk, administration of Agelmin during breast-feeding is contraindicated.

Diet does not significantly affect the absorption of cetirizine.
