Levotuss syrup is a cough suppressant.
It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of cough.
It is contraindicated in case of:
• hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients;
• bronchial hypersecretion and reduced mucociliary function (Kartagener’s syndrome, ciliary dyskinesia);
• pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• children under 2 years of age.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Do not use Levotuss during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or
you could take any other medicines.
Take this medicine with caution and tell your doctor if you are taking
sedative medicines, used for the treatment of anxiety.
This is an OTC medicine, so it can be taken without a doctor’s recommendation.

Adults : 10 ml of syrup.
Children 10-20 kg: 3 ml of syrup, up to 3 times a day at intervals of at least 6 hours.
Children 20-30 kg: 5 ml of syrup, up to 3 times a day at intervals of at least 6 hours.
It is advisable to take the drug between meals, on an empty stomach.
Do not exceed the indicated doses.
Do not give to children under 2 years of age.
