Food supplement useful in case of loss of mineral salts.
Contains:
L-carnitine tartrate, the choice of carnitine in the tartrate form is due to its greater efficacy and stability over time.
In the human body, carnitine is produced partly by the liver, kidneys and brain and partly by food.
In vegetarian diets carnitine is not present, in this case it is frequently recommended to supplement it to avoid physical and mental fatigue.
The pro-energetic action of carnitine is carried out in the mitochondria of the heart and skeletal muscles, the lipids are transported to the mitochondria where they are transformed into ATP (adenosine Tri Phosphate), a source of energy necessary for life.
Magnesium and potassium, trace elements involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions such as electrical stability of cells, integrity of cell membranes, contractility of muscle tissues, conductivity of nerve cells.
Their deficiency could induce fatigue, muscle cramps and be a contributing cause of menstrual pains and headaches.
The presence of the two trace elements in the formulation can act as a useful replenishment of magnesium and potassium depletions.
Phosphorus, intervenes in all energy processes:
without phosphorus no biological energy is produced, in fact it is essential for the transformation of food into energy.
Its main actions are:
stimulation of the contraction of the muscles, first of all, the regular contractions of the heart.
It forms phospholipids (phosphorus + lipids) which are necessary to keep the nervous system healthy and to have an efficient mental activity.
Phosphorus is an indispensable element for nucleoproteins, the basis of genetic functions.
Deficiency in phosphorus can lead to growth difficulties and poor quality of bones and teeth.
Zinc, useful for immunostimulating activity and in case of colds, weakening of sight, taste, touch, smell, acne and hair loss.
Less known is its action as a catalyst of over three hundred enzymes, in particular in the transmission of genetic information and in the functionality of cell membranes.
Vitamin C, is involved in the biosynthesis of collagen, catecholamines and carnitine, playing a "protective role of hydroxylases".
Therefore the biosynthesis of endogenous carnitine, through vitamin C, produces a proenergetic action.
Vitamin B1, promotes and favors the trophism of numerous tissues, in particular the nervous one, both at a central and peripheral level (sensitive and motor nerves).
It also intervenes in the formation of acetyl coenzyme A, which is essential in the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
Vitamin B6, acts on the protein metabolism of the various organic tissues and particularly in the nervous ones.
Vitamin B12, a coenzyme involved in pro-energetic reactions and in the metabolism of nerve tissues (deficiencies of vitamin B12 can damage central and peripheral nervous tissue).
Vitamin B12 is also involved in the formation of red blood cells, oxygen carriers, essential in energy reactions.
In summary, the components present in the product can favor the following physiological effects:
carnitine promotes the production of energy for the cell, conveying the fatty acids to the sites designated for their metabolic use.
Potassium, magnesium and phosphorus can replenish the salts lost by the body as a result of sweating.
Zinc, vitamins B1-B6-B12 are involved in energy metabolism and organic defenses.
Due to the natural origin of some ingredients it is possible to have color variations from lot to lot.
For pregnant or lactating women and children it is recommended to seek medical advice.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
