Application of the bracelet:
do not wear clothing that tightens the upper arm or with the sleeve rolled up tight.
Do not put the cuff over thick clothing.
Wear the cuff on the upper arm;
the lower part of the bracelet must be above the elbow, about 1-2 cm.
Close the velcro securely.
♦ Sit correctly:
sit comfortably and relaxed with your back straight, at comfortable room temperature.
In the 30 minutes preceding the measurement do not bathe, do not take alcoholic or caffeinated drinks, do not smoke, exercise or eat.
Keep your feet flat on the floor.
The cuff should be at the same level as the heart.
♦ Measurement:
during detection, stand still.
Press the O / I START button:
the cuff starts to inflate automatically.
Once the correct pressure is reached, the inflation stops and the cuff starts to deflate.
When the measurement is complete, the systolic / diastolic pressure and the beat are shown simultaneously on the display.
♦ If the measurement shows an irregular heart beat (IHB), the heart symbol is displayed:
in this case the measurement results may deviate from a normal situation.
The measurement must therefore be repeated.
In many cases, this is not a cause for concern.
If the heart symbol appears regularly (for example many times a week during the different daily measurements) it is advisable to talk to your doctor.
it is recommended to measure blood pressure at least two hours after waking up, not too late in the evening, and between meals.
The device contains sensitive electronic components.
Therefore avoid strong electric or electromagnetic fields in the immediate vicinity of the device (e.
g.
mobile phones, microwave ovens).
These can cause a temporary lack of precision in measuring diastolic blood pressure.
