Enjomin 50mg is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, vertigo, dizziness or indisposition during travel and also for the symptomatic treatment of nausea, vomiting and vertigo due to Ménière's disease or other labyrinth disorders.
Enjomin's active ingredient is dimenhydrinate, H1 receptor antagonists from the ethanolamine group.
Contraindications:
- Enjomin is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
- Enjomin should not be administred to patients with history of hypersensitivity to dimenhidrate or any of its components.
Pregnancy and breastfeedingEnjomin should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Possible side effects:
- drowsiness;
- dizziness;
- dry mouth;
- dry nostrils;
- headache;
- insomnia;
- rash;
- tachycardia.

Adults:
1 suppository of 50 mg to a 100 mg, 30 minutes to 1 hour before the trip.
The dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours if it is necessary, without exceeding 4 suppositories of 100 mg for 24 hours.
Only rectal route.
Children 6-12 years old:
1/2 suppository of 50 mg, 30 minutes to 1 hour before the trip.
The dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours if it is necessary, without exceeding 150 mg for 24 hours.
Only rectal route.
Children 2-6 years old:
1/2 suppository of 50 mg, 30 minutes to 1 hour before the trip.
The dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours if it is necessary, without exceeding 75 mg for 24 hours.
Only rectal route.
Meniere disease:
1 suppository 3 times per day.
